|
|
Good morning,
I'm searching for a decent and reliable Diagnostic software for my c20let tigra.
Got a Motronic 2.7 ECU with a converted 16-pin ALDL plug (using OBD2 cable).
can you point me to a name or a few links with the appropriate software? |

I think you might be struggling to find that for the Motronic 2.7.
You might be better off changing to a different fuel management system such as Mega Squirt which you can play around with on your home PC.
try www.mtechautomotive.co.uk/engine-management |

I've got a Sykes Pickavant diagnostics scanner that plugs into the old style 10 pin plug. It reads any fault codes that are stored and also reads 'real-time' data from ignition advance, rpm, coolant and air intake temps etc.
Would've cost a few bob when new, but they sometimes come up on ebay - I'll get the details off it when I get home to let you know what to look for. |

Right, its a 'Sykes Picakavant ACR', model 3005500. I've got the 'GM Pod 1v3' which does a whole load of ECUs including the M2.7.
TGheres one on ebay just now - here, don't know if the pods are the ones you need but a search on the Sykes website should give you the info you need. |
