right had an unexpected dayy of yesterday and we had a little bit of spare time in the afternoon and did a bit on the car

firstly i todied up the wiring under the inlet now that there is no inlet on there to amke sure everything is clear of the gear linkage etc. then i relocated the head tank as it was in the way now so we relocated here

extended the pipework

Then i mounted and piped up the FPR regulator, it could do with securing a bit better but is ok for now

I also sorted the feed to the fuel rail too but forgot to take a pic

whilst i was doing this matt painted up the back so we now have no holes..lol

thanks mate. we are motoring along now so will be wanting the management soon hopefully and it will be onto the loom etc.

i will be in touch after the weekend at which point we are hoping to be in or pretty much in a position that it only needs the management.

cheers.

i have just won some LET injectors too so only thing we are wanting to buy is the manifold Thumbs Up

update time..finally

progress has seen a slow down as unfortuntaly my nan next door passed away recently so our enthusiasm dropped off.

however as i have been at home we have done a few bits

whilst i was sorting out the throttle boddies matt did this..makes the inside loads nicer

i cut off a bit of pipe to extend the pipe from the relocated header tank. loads better than before Thumbs Up

i also made some spacers for the rail so the injectors can be secured in nice and tight

then after that i pipeed it all up and tightened it all up

only thing left to do now is mount the fpr properly and then really it just need the management

matt also remounted our fire extinguisger so somewhere a little more accessible

things to do next are:

1 - sort manifold which i am hopeing to have sorted by the weekend
2 - get the M tech V 4 which chip has kindly sorted for us
3 - by all the plugs and fittings to make up the loom
4 - get a tps

only problems i forsee is making the exhuast mate up to our current exhaust.. which i may need to speak nicley to the legendary dewis motorsport Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

but it depends on what time he has..lol

that is all Thumbs Up

Mate you need to paint the spacers and water pipe as there steel and will rust and look shit Nod

I've always got time for you love

I'll pop round at the weekend and have a look, I break up from work on the 30th for 3 weeks so will do your exhaust and seats then Thumbs Up

Thinking of changing my username too Dewis "project saver" Motorsport PMSL

let the games begin on something new :dunno:

bits we wont miss about the blue trackcar

leaking engine... and not the odd drip, like the sump had a 50p sized hole in it

Crapy Spax RSX - it rattled and the rear shock rebound was only good on the softest

it was a touch lagy..lol
