is that a 2.8 turbo you thinking about? or a bored 2.5?

using all G's would probably be good but i haven't heard anyone using them either! could be worth a try!! Nod

N/A mate, 3.0 block and pistons with 2.5 crank and rods, figured it would be a good cheap way to have some extra CC over the normal 2.5 without having any problems revving it like the 3.0 can have.

that should be a good build, wont that also raise the compression?

A little yes I think, although would need to measure, but I dont view that as a bad thing.

no that woud probably be good for these engines i think, well off gas! we sticking with the lower compression of the 3.2 so we can use a good bit, would be a interesting build that 2.8 though Nod

here's a few more bits collected for the build which need cleaning and painting.
competition engine mounts

Nova strut brace which looks like it'll fit around the inlet ok.....soon find out though

some poly bushed bottom arms and rose joint tie bars with the option of lowering for the 6 speed boxes etc.

and we are going to use the bilstein front shocks for it.

Well there has been a little progress over the last 2 days, we got the seems stripped back and cleaned off, can't believe how clean this nova realy is......

we then moved on to giving it some seem welding just to be sure....

Then t was all clean back, rubbed down, primed and painted in the colour its going to end off, this is straight out the gun, needs a quick rub back and polish.....

more updates over the next few days i hope! Thumbs Up

Amazing how much a lick of paint transforms how it looks.

Going to be done for PV?

yeah the paint sure has transformed it alright.

I'm hoping so mate, we want it ready to go in march for the first york raceway meet so if we haven't killed it before PV then we'll be up for it LOL

I presume this is a straight line racer with a v6 in again !

VERY suprised you haven't bothered with a HH plate kit though with that sort of engine going in there.
