Wiring colours are as follows:
XE loom
Green - revcounter feed, wire to green on corsa plug (some corsas may not have this wire, in which case use a bullet connector and run a green wire to the rear of the clocks if you wish to fit a set with a revcounter.
Brown/Blue - ECU light, match to corsa plug
Brown/White - Diagnostics, match to corsa plug
Brown/Yellow - Diagnostics, match to corsa plug
Blue/red (thick) - Fuel pump feed, match to corsa plug
Blue - Coolant temp sensor feed for dash clocks, match to plug
Red/White - Autobox, unused in conversion
Red/Blue (thin) - electronic speedo feed, match to corsa plug
Red (large) - Battery +ve
Black (thin) - Battery ?ve I moved this inside and matched it to the corsa plug
Black/green - Aircon, unused in conversion
. |
Im having trouble not getting a spark on mine , In that picture i have the thick red and thick black left over , i did a circuit test on them and there both reading posative + . Do they need connecting to anything ?. |

| black should be ignition live, red permanent live. One is usually in the loom over by the battery on a single plug, I moved it to the corsa plug when I retaped the loom |

with the ignition on and that plug plugged into the corsa they will.
They need connected to the ecu perm and ign lives. The ignitionlive is a single blackwire in the engine loomover by the corsa battery while the permlive is normally in the loom end iirc |

| Anyone done it to a late corsa with the ecu in the engine bay, as the plug isnt the same as the one in the kick pannel like the earlier ones. |

dont know if anyone has come across this problem but ill write it anyway .
I had my hub carriers machined out to 68mm to take the golf wheel bearing , All going well but as i was pressing the hub in to the bearing we come across a problem where there is a lip on the calibra hub and it hits the carrier before its fully in the wheel bearing. so i had to have the lip on the hub removed back closer to the middle .
heres a pic
it dont rub now |

Sorry for the pics, i thought id sussed it from the other posts but i'm stupid so...
The eingine is from a 1991 astra GTE
I have this plug from the corsa:
I've cut this plug off of my GTE loom:
I've pulled these 3 from that plug back to next to the ECU plug to connect up
Which leaves me with these 2 sticking out:
Which are pretty much next to the fuel pump relay bit on the loom:
This is the last bit i've got to do, any help would be greatly appreciated. |
