|

Hi everyone.
Just a quick question. When i was at Interpro getting my car set up on their dyno one of them mentioned that i would get more power from my NOS kit if i had four smaller jets drilled straight into my inlet manifold so that the NOS was spraying straight into my cylinder head rather then having one big jet spraying just before the inlet manifold. Do you agree and if yes would the difference be noticeable.
This is how it is set up at the moment.

Hello Mike.
I know you mentioned this before to me in person. Mine seems to work OK with the jet being quite a way from the manifold. All the air seems to go the same way. _________________ Pushing 1.9 TDI tuning to the limit.

You get good techie help by phoning up highpower systems (or whatever the name is...)
Sometimes I think Trev just hangs out on the advanced NOS board. (and if he's reading this) _________________ Pushing 1.9 TDI tuning to the limit.

God, way too late to be studying now. Was warned against going straight from desk to bed, as my brain will still be ticking over with all theory crap I'm supposed to remember.
Chilling to some music now, and time for ZZZs _________________ Pushing 1.9 TDI tuning to the limit.

Furby, I cover the WHOLE forum, it's just that the diesel section is off the main screen and I sometimes miss it but I check the whole list as often as possible to catch any I missed, so to you to.
There is NO WAY of predicting if an engine will produce better results with 1 or 4 injectors (unfortunately), because I've seen both options produce the best results on different engines. Anyone who makes a blanket statement that 4 injectors is best regardless of the engine type or without accurate dyno results knows NOTHING about nitrous.
There is ONLY one way to determine if 1 jet or 4 jets will produce the best results on any given engine type and that's to try both options on a dyno back to back.
