I've read a lot about increasing fuelling with the Bosch mechanical fuel pump with turbo boost and wondered if anyone has any tips to pass on, in particular what is the logical order of tweaking them?

As I understand it, the possibilities are a governor mod, the max fuel screw, the eccentric cone rotation, the boost plunger spring, the nylon stop washer and the (off-boost) smoke screw as well as turbo boost increases.

According to the 'net, each tweak can affect other settings so if anyone can offer advice, I'd be most grateful.

Oh, and another tip I read was to feed the fuel return back into the pump inlet but someone advised me this may cause a leak due to the added pressure.

Aww, come on, share the knowledge please, I've read about the BX on here and I'm sooooooo excited at the prospect. I'll probably have to save up for the boost plunger Trev has developed but I also want off-nos improvements which I've partially accomplished already - along with too much smoke.

Sorry I can't help with this one other than to say we use the fuel screw adjustment to achieve our nitrous fuel requirements.

RichC is the expert on this stuff, so try sending him an email as he may not visit us very often now.

Regards
