Heres, a starter for ten....
In a future version of progressive controller:
I think 'user ID' (menu driven pin number entry) would be usefull to prevent unauthorised use of the system.......no need to disconnect the bottle or worry about mechanics tinkering with your program settings while your car in in for MOT or service...or when you lend your car to a mate in need or your partner for example _________________ K10 + MA10 + N20 =ZOOM! That's a great idea and it would make them useless if anyone stole them, shame Road Angels and the like don't use such a system.
I'll get Ant on it for the next update.

Menu option........nested under already existing "display" menu
(ASSIDE: I realise that menu options are allredy occupying one screan allready......maybe could go to vertical scrolling menu?)
I assume the brightness of the backlight is PWM controlled.......would be very nice to be able to set a user brightness for normal (day) and dimmed (headlamps on / night or dusk use) _________________ K10 + MA10 + N20 =ZOOM! (Nitrously Aspirated) |

Hi All,
As I mentioned in a different thread, the backlight brightness is adjustable but it's now running at a 'safe level' any brighter and unfortunately the backlights aren't too happy.
I do like the idea of having user PIN operation but when the old 'Powamax's' used to take 5 seconds to boot-up we used to get complaints that the unit wasn't ready instantly (some people don't arm the nitrous till they get to the line). So having to put in a PIN everytime would drive a majority nuts.
Even so it's added to the 'to do list'. _________________ Regards,

Cheers Ant!!
PIN on startup can still be an option in the setup menu...ie the feature is there and pops up in your face on the first install...you can then chose to enable "PIN on boot" or "PIN on boot" is disabled......then the race guys won't get miffed. _________________ K10 + MA10 + N20 =ZOOM!
